Hotel Rwanda Speaker
Paul Rusesabagina will be coming to town!
Short Bio: Paul was the assistant manager of the Hotel des Mille Collines, and later the manager of the Hôtel des Diplomates, both in Kigali, Rwanda. During the 1994 Rwandan genocide, Rusesabagina used his influence and connections as temporary manager of the Mille Collines to shelter over 1,200 Tutsis and moderate Hutus from being slaughtered by the Interahamwe militia. A Message from the Canadian Federation of Jewish Students
December 1, 2005
Dear Friend of the Canadian Federation of Jewish Students,
It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that this email reaches you!
Today marks the official launch of our new CFJS website at http://www.cfjs.ca/ http://www.cfjs.ca. It has taken many hours of work and many people to get this website up and running. Our website will enable Jewish students from across the country to gather in a virtual forum, to exchange ideas, share visions and enhance Jewish student life on Canadian campuses. The Canadian Federation of Jewish Students exists to empower Jewish students, and this website will play a major role in that objective. We encourage you to check out our website, on a regular basis (as it will be constantly updated) and to use it as a resource for your local Jewish student group. The website is also an ongoing project, as such we encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas and wishes of what youd like to see on the site. Please feel free to contact mailto:rob@cfjs.ca rob@cfjs.ca with any comments, or any other executive of the CFJS.
As a true testament to the power of the website and its use, we have now posted the DECEMBER EDITION of the JEWSLETTER at HTTP://WWW.CFJS.CA/ HTTP://WWW.CFJS.CA. Please take a moment to go to cfjs.ca and download the December edition of the Jewsletter for the latest news.
As always, please also consider printing out some copies and posting them in your local Hillel house/office, sending them to your membership and forwarding this email.
If you receive multiple copies of our emails, please reply to this email with ?No Thanks? or ?Multiple Emails? in the subject line.
Happy Surfing!
