[JSA/Hillel] FW: Bone Marrow Flyer
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to say hello and introduce myself as the new JSA/Hillel Director. I am very excited and I am looking forward to meeting all of you. In the mean time I am sending an e-mail to all of you regarding the Bone Marrow Drive that will be taking place at the Asper Campus on November 19, 2006. Please circulate the flyer and see if anyone you know may be interested in taking 30 minutes out of their day to get swabbed or a few hours to volunteer. It is a very important and worthwhile cause.
I am sending you a copy of the e-mail that was received from Stephanie Jacobs-Lockhart outlining time, dates and what they are looking for.
I will be coming to the U of M campus tomorrow with Roberta, so I hope to meet some of you then. Please be in touch as this would help me to meet you and learn about the needs of the student population.
Thank you,
Rishona

We are in need of volunteers and would be interested in student participation. If you have anyone needing "volunteer hours", please have them call me at 477-7407. They will need to be at a training session on Wednesday, November 15th from 7:00pm-8:00pm at Campus in the Kroft Board room. That session is being conducted by the Coordinator of the Gift of Life Foundation in Boca Raton via conference call. All volunteers are asked to come on time. As well the Bone Marrow clinic will be held on Sunday, November 19th from 9:00am-5:00pm. There will be two shifts; 9:00am-1:00pm and 1:00pm -5:00pm. Again, people are being asked to come a half hour early for both shifts for a brief orientation before staring.
Any help with this worth while program would be very much appreciated. If you have any further questions or concerns please let me now. Thank you for all your help.
