Foundations of Management - New This Year - April 8 or May 21 (full day workshop) - This workshop helps participants reflect on their leadership values and workstyle, understand expectations of a UM manager, and align their practices with institutional priorities.
A Coach-approach to Management - New This Year - April 15 or May 28 (full day workshop) - Learn how coaching can enhance employee wellbeing and performance while building practical skills to integrate a coach-approach into your everyday management practice.
Introduction to Human Resources - April 29 (full day workshop) Gain a practical overview of Human Resources at UM, including key processes, helpful resources for decision-making, and where to go for HR guidance and support.
Team-building sessions for groups and teams- LOD offers several unique sessions for teams such as Building your Team Charter, Service Excellence, Workload Balance & Stress, and more, all designed to foster a collaborative environment in an engaging, fun and interactive way. UM LEAD Certificate Program in University Leadership - applications are now open for this program available to those who are currently in a leadership role. New Support Staff Orientation - If you are a new support staff employee, or have hired a new support staff employee, there are regular offerings of orientation offered through LOD and available both in-person and online. Our next offerings are April 23 (online) and June 17 (in person).
Microsoft 365: I.S.T. Engagement Services provides several Microsoft 365 sessions covering topics related to Microsoft 365, Teams, Sharing Files, MS Forms and more. Search for "M365" when you visit LODReg to see available options.
