On behalf of Learning & Organizational Development (LOD), I invite you to explore the many professional development opportunities available to you this fall. Registration for our September and October workshops and sessions is now open. Registration typically opens 6 to 8 weeks in advance so I encourage you to check the LODReg page, pasted below, regularly to view new workshops as they are scheduled.
LOD offers four certificate programs and over 150 skill building workshops and sessions each year on topics ranging from communication skills, managing projects, presentation skills, taking minutes for meetings, understanding our various support staff collective agreements, and even short sessions on creating your personal career path here at the university. LOD programs and services are fully funded by Human Resources as part of our commitment to employee development, and are available exclusively to University of Manitoba employees.
