With the start of a new year and new term, we encourage you to explore the professional development opportunities available to you through Learning & Organizational Development (LOD), Human Resources.
LOD offers four certificate programs and over 150 skill building workshops and sessions each year on topics ranging from communication skills and how to conduct annual performance reviews, to understanding our various support staff collective agreements and supporting a respectful workplace. Workshops and sessions typically open for registration about two months in advance of their date, so please check back often to see if the workshops that interest you are currently offered.
Some new sessions available this winter term include Mindfulness, Pathing Your UM Career: Transferable Skills, Pathing Your UM Career: Interviews, Hybrid Teams: Meetings, and Hybrid Teams: Collaboration & Team Building
