LOD workshops open to the end of 2024
Good morning
I hope that you are keeping well.
I am pleased to tell you that Learning & Organizational Development (LOD) has opened all workshops in our LODReg tool to the end of the calendar year. Please register at: https://umanitoba.gosignmeup.com/Public/Course/Browse
Some workshops that may interest you include:
Ethics: Organizational Stewardship - Wednesday, November 20, OR Tuesday, December 10, from 9am to 1pm. This four-hour workshop engages participants in conversation and activities to explore our ethical obligations and opportunities.
Critical Dialogues - Monday, November 25, from 1:00 to 4:00pm. This session provides great models and practices for ways to communicate and collaborate with others.
Project Management - Wednesday, December 4, from 9am to 4pm. This interactive workshop offers a great foundation in how to manage a project from start to finish.
Pathing Your UMCareer: Transferable Skills - Monday, December 2, from 2:00 to 3:30pm. We might be limiting ourself from future opportunities by not recognizing how skills in one area can be transferred to other roles. This short session encourages support staff to explore their knowledge, skills, and talents and describe them in ways that relate to other UManitoba opportunities they may want to pursue.
New Support Staff Orientation - Thursday, November 21, from 9am to 4pm. If you are, or have hired, new support staff who have not yet attended an Orientation session, this is the opportunity. More sessions, both online and face-to-face, will be offered in the new year. Watch LODReg for the dates of future offerings.
To view the full workshop schedule, and to register for workshops and sessions, visit LODReg: https://umanitoba.gosignmeup.com/Public/Course/Browse I encourage you to check the LODReg page regularly to view all of the employee learning and development opportunities as they become available.
