Winter 2026 Workshop
Working and Researching in Good Ways: Foundations for Faculty, Advisors, and Administrators Date: April 24, 2026

Workshop Description: This session introduces Working in Good Ways: An Indigenous Informed Framework for Community Engagement, alongside Researching in Good Ways, an emerging framework shaped through consultations with Indigenous scholars, graduate students, faculty, and community partners about conducting research good ways. The workshop aims to discuss how participants’ work can support alignment with these principles, while responding to questions and challenges raised by participants.

Workshop Description: Topics will include governance, admissions, program requirements and progression, awards, term reports, academic and non-academic misconduct processes, appeal procedures, program changes, student supports, and professional development opportunities.
