FYI: Manitoba Health: New Role: Nurse Navigator/Mentor

Hi Everyone, I would like to let you know that Manitoba Health has created a new role of Nurse Navigator/Mentor. This role is designed to support Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) and assist them in navigating the pathway to registration and employment. Manitoba Health is looking for licensed nurses in the province who may have an interest in this new role. Please see the attachment for a description of the role. Dear Colleagues, In the Fall, Diane Hiebert-Murphy, Provost and Vice-President (Academic), announced that Francene Perehinec had joined the Faculty Relations Office as a Family Resource Coordinator, a newly created resource for faculty members seeking information and guidance on child-care options and other family care related matters. The Family Resource Coordinator role has been expanded to assist and support not just faculty members, but all academics and support staff of the university.
