The following message is being sent on behalf of Tina Chen, Vice-Provost (Equity)
This month we are excited to launch the Equity Leadership Breakfast Serieshttps://umanitoba.sharepoint.com/sites/um-intranet-provost-vice-president-academic/SitePages/Equity-Leadership-Breakfast-Series.aspx?web=1.
Equity Leadership Breakfasts are rooted in the importance of connection and mutual support in opening up career pathways. Each gathering features invited speakers from specific backgrounds and identities, to share insights and reflections from their own personal leadership journeys.
These sessions are open to faculty and staff in any position who identify as members of the systemically marginalized groups featured. I hope that you can share with your staff, and support participation by those interested in attending sessions that align with their identities.
Sessions are built on an affinity-group model that builds community through shared spaces and mutual support across shared lived experiences and identities.
Spaces still open for Session 1!
