On behalf of the University of Manitoba Students' Union (UMSU), I would like to extend an invitation to you to be a part of our Annual UMSU Holiday Hamper Program.
As you know, students are struggling more than ever with the rising cost of inflation and living. The Holiday Hamper Program helps combat food insecurity by providing grocery gift cards to students facing financial hardship, allowing them to choose the food and essentials they need most.
Attached you will find our support letter detailing the Holiday Hampers Program for this year and how you can get involved in this amazing initiative. To keep this program running annually, we rely on the fundraising efforts of our generous student associations, clubs, and corporate and community partners, these funds go towards purchasing gift cards to give the students this holiday season.

The University of Manitoba campuses and the UMSU offices are located on the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation, and on the original lands of the Inuit.
