Learn to communicate scientific research and research findings to a non-scientific audience through various media tools including verbal and written communiqué, social media and virtual/digital messaging in a way that is engaging, accurate and enhances confidence in science. News briefs, product and science concept descriptions, videos (animated, live-action, etc.), podcasts, public speaking/interviews are all covered in the micro-diploma in science communication.

IMMU 7000 Science Communication: Foundations & writing methodologies (3 CH) Provides an overview of the primary methodologies governing science communication writing. * Offered: Fall 2023
IMMU 7010 Science Communication: Audio-video methodologies (3 CH) Provide an overview of the primary audio-visual methodologies used for science communications. * Offered: Winter 2024
