Dr. Annemieke Farenhorst, Dean Dr. Annemieke Farenhorst has been appointed Dean of the Clayton H. Riddell Faculty of Environment, Earth, and Resources for the term September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2031. Campus Beautification Day A cherished annual tradition at UM that brings together staff, students, faculty and local community members. The festivities provide an opportunity to step outside, build community with co-workers and take pride in enhancing the campus green spaces together. BioBlitz Week An exciting, campus-wide initiative to explore and document the biodiversity found in and around the university. Throughout the week, students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to photograph and record wild plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms spotted on campus using the free app or University of Manitoba – BioBlitz Week! · iNaturalist Canada.
