I wanted to share an update on an upcoming initiative focused on cleaning up and enhancing several spaces within RR3.
Over the past year, there has already been significant progress in upgrading several office spaces, including the RR333 classroom, and we are continuing that work by exploring several renovation projects. We are currently in the process of obtaining quotes from the HSC Maintenance Office for the following:
* Renovation of the RR306/RR324 washrooms into a single, accessible universal washroom that would also include a change room for patients and clients. This would involve incorporating the adjacent storage room to create a larger, more functional space. * Conversion of RR367 into a dedicated CoRS PhD and student research space, including updates to flooring, paint, lighting, and blinds, turning the two private offices into meeting spaces and the larger space as a place where research can be conducted. * Transformation of RR327 into a flexible storage and lunchroom space for RR3 occupants. * Refresh of the RR339 lounge area to create an open, bookable meeting space.
As part of this process, I will be reaching out to individuals who have previously used some of these spaces to help identify and relocate any personal or departmental items.
I just wanted to provide this heads-up so you're aware of the direction we're moving in and to expect some increased activity in the area as plans develop.
