[SBMS Exec Council] Special meeting of the SBMS Executive Council
by Chris Anderson 31 Aug '26

31 Aug '26

Good afternoon everyone, Once we have an Executive Assistant in place for the School, they will help manage governance, including finding regular times for Executive Council meetings. In the meantime, I'm on my own and we have our first item to consider with some urgency. I'd like to call a special council meeting to deal with this item before the September 17 meeting of the Max Rady College of Medicine Executive Council. I will send a meeting agenda once we set a time. In short, we need to consider a proposal to change the sponsoring academic unit for the Master of Neuroscience program from the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics to the School of Biomedical Sciences. Please complete the following poll as soon as possible. I expect to need no more than 30 minutes, and quite possibly less than that. The meeting will be VIRTUAL. Thank you!
