Research Participant Opportunity for Students In the Faculty of Social Work

In this study, “minority identity markers” refers to students who identify as racialized, immigrant, international, language-minority, or from other groups that may be underrepresented in healthcare education. You may participate if you:
* Are 18 years or older * Are currently enrolled in a healthcare-related program at the University of Manitoba * Self-identify as having minority identity markers * Are able to participate in an interview conducted in English * Are willing to participate in an audio-recorded interview * Not be currently taught, supervised, or evaluated by the Principal Investigator, and not reasonably expected to be taught or evaluated by the Principal Investigator in the near future.
What is involved? • One individual interview lasting approximately 60–90 minutes • At the beginning of the interview, you will be asked a few brief demographic questions (5–10 minutes) • The interview will take place in person or via UM Zoom • The interview will be audio-recorded You will receive a $25 gift card as a token of appreciation.
