Vancouver Locals You Need to Know: Meet the Family Behind Modacity
Vancouver’s first active transportation family tries to commute everywhere they go by bike. Meet Chris and Melissa Bruntlett, who in the summer of 2010, made the decision to abandon their car and make nearly every trip with their two young children by bike. While the decision was nerve wrecking at first, it became apparent very quickly that by giving up their car they avoided the inconvenience of traffic, delays, and having to find parking.
Four years later, Chris and Melissa took their passion further by founding Modacity http://pps.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2c803e70a8ad33c13a95a1ee6&id=e6cc2f0bf3&e=8577dd457f, a multi-service consultancy that through their work as writers, filmmakers, photographers and speakers inspires “healthier, happier, and more simple forms of urban mobility.” Check out their latest collection of short films highlighting cycling in Arlington, VA http://pps.us2.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=2c803e70a8ad33c13a95a1ee6&id=85ce25570a&e=8577dd457f .
