A pedestrian has died after being struck by a pickup truck at a Winnipeg crosswalk Friday evening.
Police were called to Main Street and Jarvis Avenue where they learned a man in his 60s had been crossing Main at a crosswalk when he was hit by an oncoming pickup truck.
The man was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later died from his injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and the investigation is continuing.
