Alright! The file is nearly complete, including the diversity statement. The application technically has everything, but we are not making full use of the permitted space (2 pages for everything excluding the organizers, committee, and references sections; 4 pages overall). I suggest we fill the extra space with a 3rd Scope and Purpose paragraph discussing this year's multi-model theme. If nobody objects, I'll write it tomorrow (unless someone else beats me to it).

Working on the diversity section. Do you believe it is best to use their suggested subsections? - in which case, we are weak on the third point, "diversifying participation" (which states: "providing mentoring, subsidies, coordinating with affinity groups, diversifying the selection of papers, and so on"). Or is it better to make it one long paragraph instead, like last time but extended?
Those aren't subsections in the template; they're just points that they suggest we consider. We don't need to address all of them, and don't need to list them explicitly as in the template. One or more unlabelled paragraphs should be fine. It's also fine if the paragraphs say nothing about the "diversifying participation" point.
