Hello RT1 Students,
Please see the following email being sent on behalf of Candice Harmon:
Hi everyone,
I spoke with a couple of you on Friday about immunizations and wanted to get a message out to the whole class. Because the immunization office is quite behind and this is not within our control, you will not be held back from clinical rotations due to immunization status. Clare reached out to the Immunization Office, and they stated that this years' Fall intake has not been reviewed yet and students are still being entered into the system.
Clare sent out some messaging last week to those who still had to register for a Medeo account and submit your documents. The Immunization Office connects with you via Medeo so please be sure you have that as up to date as you can.
The office is also stating this: "INQUIRIES REGARDING CLINICAL PLACEMENTS: It is not a requirement to be fully up to date with your immunizations prior to going on your placements"
If you know what you are missing, you can try to connect with your family doctor to get what you need, but realize this is likely not possible. As you enter your clinical rotations, please be diligent with your PPE.
Thank you,
Candice Harmon BMR-RT CRE RCPT(P)
