Hello DH2 & DH3
Please see the plan below for tomorrow’s event. Please do not wear sweatpants or ripped jeans; you will be representing yourself and the school tomorrow and potentially in photos that may be shared for years to come!
Student Plan – Cholakis Naming Event (Sept. 17th, 2026) Arrive Btw 8:15 am – 8:30 am – Joe Doupe Gym
o Sweatshirts are laid out on tables organized by size
o Tote bags are available for sweatshirt storage next to the tables
o Volunteers will handle –
• Checking in students
• Distributing sweatshirts
• Distributing tote bags
• Answering questions/confirming details with students
• The ten students (Volunteers)to hand out swag after the event are given their instructions
• Students sit in the sections reserved for them: you will be on the second level for presentations; you will be guided down by event staff
During Ceremony (9:00 am – 9:40 am) –
• Students put on their sweatshirts during the video introduced by Dr. Michael Benarroch
• Once the naming of the School is announced, the students are led to the front of the stage by Jackson and Dan from the second level
• Jackson and Dan guide the students to form three lines
• Students remain in front of the stage long enough for photos before returning to their seats
• After Sam Joy and Stacey Urban (student speakers) finish their portion of the program, the ten student volunteers join Jackson and Dan at the registration tables to receive the swag
Post-Ceremony (9:40 am – 11:00 am) –
• The ten student volunteers distribute the swag
• Students take pictures with other attendees.
