As the year wraps up, please do not send an e-mail request to the Dean to provide a letter to the MDA to verify your graduation. This process is automatic with the College. We send a letter with all student names verifying Graduation after Dentistry College Council approves the grad lists on May 5th in the afternoon. I send a letter to the MDA shortly after approvals are done.
I have not seen the licensure package this year from the MDA but there is generally a need to provide a letter of reference from a Faculty member. This is separate from the Dean's verification of graduation and if you are wishing to ask the Dean for one of these, please contact her directly.
If you are planning on registering with another dental licensing body (another province) you will need to send me an e-mail request to send them a letter of confirmation of graduation and any form they may require confirming graduation. I will send out letters directly to the licensing body after May 5th.
I also send a confirmation to the NDEB of graduation (after May 5th). They normally send out certificates around the date of Convocation. Please ensure that you update your mailing address with the NDEB via their portal. If you used a more formal (official) name for your NDEB application than what is on our Class list, please let me know so that our list matches theirs and confirmation of graduation goes smoothly.
If you need to order a transcript, please see the following website for information on the process.
