Comparing Notes: Musician-Physicians on Listening and Performance in Clinical Practice Health care providers "perform" in a range of roles for their patients and the general public. In a world full of noise, how do we listen and communicate with imagination, curiosity, and a collaborative approach in the clinical realm.
In this session, two physicians who are advanced classical musicians discuss techniques for appreciating nuance in the patient perspective, enhancing the doctor-patient relationship, and improving satisfaction for both. Attendees will be invited to engage and reflect on their own professional practice.
