Sent on behalf of Moni Fricke Dear MPT students, You are invited to join other PT students at the second annual inter-university initiative for physiotherapy students across Canada, called "We Belong". This event is a collaboration between the Queer Physiotherapy Collective (QPC), the Black Physical Therapy Association (BPTA), the Global Health Division (GHD) of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and the Indigenous Health Subdivision (IHS) of the GHD. This will be the second year this grassroots initiative offers students a space that affirms, supports, and connects Indigenous, Black, racialized, and 2S/LGBTQ+ students. Our goals are to build visibility, foster belonging, and reduce isolation for students who may not always feel they belong and may not know that groups like ours exist. Please see the attached infographic that provides a brief description of each group, along with an invitation to a virtual networking event on Oct 21st, 2026, 6-7:30 PM CT. Folks can register here: https://utoronto.zoom.us/meeting/register/5MlE0P8sQxmgEdHxpmW-ag.
