*Volunteer for this year's Amazing Agriculture Adventure (AAA) in Winnipeg
on September 20, 21, & 22!*
I am sending this email as a call for volunteers to help with our AAA event
held at the Richardson International Kelburn Farm and Bruce D Campbell Farm
& Food Discovery Centre on Sept. 20-22 with set-up being on Monday, Sept.
19. You can volunteer for a full or half day.
Be a part of all the excitement and be an agriculture ambassador! We need
at least 14 volunteers for both areas:
*Class hosting*- You work with teachers and students to lead them to the
correct stations at the right time. You are not responsible for supervising
students. We provide you with instructions before the day and give you all
the information you need at the morning orientation. Easy-peasy!
*Volunteer station- *You run/manage 10-minute stations for each group! We
provide all the information you need to do this with scripts before the
event and training the morning of. These stations are very interactive and
fun to work at. This is an awesome way for you to teach kids about
agriculture and share your story! Volunteer stations include: Bees,
Enviroscapes, wheat grinding, and farm business station at Kelburn Farm and
the Bio-Security station at Glenlea Farm & Food Discovery Centre.
