It will be appreciated if you could share this information with students whose first language is not English. Last term, students reported that they enjoyed connecting with fellow graduate students, as it gave them a sense of belonging to a community. The vast majority of students reported that the skills they developed were directly applicable to their course work and academic performance. For a variety of reasons (convenience, no commuting, student comfort) we have seen strong attendance in our remote courses. A new course, Intercultural Communication, is now available to help students communicate more confidently with people from cultures that may be quite different from their own.
