by Grigory Shamov 07 Nov '25

Hi, You are receiving this email because you have/had an active Faculty role in CCDB at UManitoba. And thus, may be interested in the state of DRAC’s digital infrastructure; so I take liberty to forward some recent links for DRAC calls A lot of things is happening at the Digital Alliance of Canada. There are a few DataSpaces, Storage and Secure data, and Research software calls closing Nov 14th: https://www.alliancecan.ca/en/opportunities Moreover, there is a call to participate in the Alliance’s “Focus groups” that seems to be related to the above calls: “ Join a Focus Group to help shape the National Research Data Strategy Members of the research community are invited to participate in focus groups around key elements of the Canadian Research Data Platform: a seamless, interoperable, and researcher-friendly data ecosystem that supports the full research data lifecycle, including planning, active data management, discovery, preservation, and reuse. Volunteers from all communities and all academic disciplines are welcome! ” https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSclysDlo04VmR_pdKDAwdH6tudITK0CctX… Thanks! -- Grigory Shamov Site Lead / HPC Specialist University of Manitoba and DRI Alliance Canada
