Promotion of the Joint International Microcredentials Program: Arts, human rights & social justice that will be held in June 2026.] Le Centre de recherche et d'enseignement sur les droits de la personne (CREDP) est heureux de s'associer à cette initiative, en partenariat avec l'Université de Séville : Programme international conjoint de micro-certifications sur les arts, les droits de la personne & la justice sociale<https://www.uottawa.ca/recherche-innovation/credp/sensibilisation/arts-droi…> 11 au 16 JUIN 2026 Campus de l'Université de Séville (Séville, Espagne) Cours d'été dispensé en anglais. Ce cours a pour objectif d'explorer liens entre les arts et les droits humains, ainsi que leur rôle dans la promotion de ces droits et de la justice sociale. Les étudiants découvriront des outils et des cadres permettant d'identifier les moyens de renforcer les initiatives en faveur des droits de la personne et de la justice sociale à travers les arts. Ils échangeront leurs points de vue sur les manifestations artistiques qui captent l'attention du public et celles qui, au contraire, peinent à communiquer des messages fondamentaux. Ouvert à toutes et à tous. | 30 places disponibles. | Les candidatures doivent être soumises via le portail de l'Université de Séville. | Les inscriptions ouvriront bientôt! ________________________________ The Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) is delighted to be joining this initiative in partnership with the University of Seville: Joint International Microcredentials Program on the Arts, Human Rights & Social Justice<https://www.uottawa.ca/research-innovation/hrrec/outreach/arts-human-rights…> JUNE 11 to 16, 2026 University of Seville Campus (Seville, Spain) Summer course delivered in English. The goal of this course is to explore issues around the arts as a manifestation of human rights and as an instrument for the promotion of human rights and social justice. Students will be exposed to tools and frameworks to identify ways in which human rights and social justice initiatives can be enhanced through the arts. They will exchange views about artistic manifestations that capture people's attention and others that fail to communicate basic messages.
