Due to a scheduling conflict, I will be replacing a law school faculty member at the upcoming Indigenous digitization conference this Thursday and Friday.
I am in need of someone to take on my VR shift this Friday from noon until 1pm.

Patrons are currently having problems downloading pdf articles from ScienceDirect (Elsevier) journals. If users get to the detail page of an article from One Stop Search or some other way, clicking on the Download PDF is currently not working and is indicating that the user must pay for the article.

A work around for this problem is to display the table of contents for the issue by clicking on the link to the issue. Then you can click on the pdf and download the article.

Hello!
Thanks to everyone for resolving their year-end outstanding tickets in the LibAnswers queue.
Remember that if a ticket arrives in LIbAnswers during your LibChat shift, you are responsible for answering the question within the ticket and seeing it through to closure or transfer to someone who can answer it.
If you are waiting to hear back from a patron, set the ticket status to PENDING.
If a patron replies to a closed ticket, the ticket will reactivate and return to the LibAnswers queue and the original ticket owner will receive an e-mail notification from LibAnswers that a ticket requires their attention.
