The objective of the session was to gather a group of people with different expertise in remote sensing and drone imaging work and initiate a program to develop a drone-based imaging workflow to conduct research. This was also done in order to demonstrate the new drone and LiDAR sensor we obtained for the weed research program (Dilshan and Rob Gulden) and winter wheat breeding program (Curt McCartney) to carry out research in the future. Once the initial infrastructure is established, we are looking forward to conducting more of this training session for all the staff members and students who are interested in the Department and in the Faculty.
