Message from Naomi Andrew, Vice-President (Administration) and United Way Winnipeg Campaign Cabinet Member
To wrap up the 2023 campaign, I am very pleased and honoured to announce that the University of Manitoba and the AESES United Way Winnipeg Campaign teams together won the Spirit of Collaboration Award! This award recognizes outstanding joint workplace campaigns, where leadership comes from both union and management working together at all levels of the campaign.
I am also thrilled to let you know that the University raised over $710,650 surpassing our goal of $700,000. Congratulations to everyone who participated in and supported our campaign! I am overwhelmed by your generosity.
I would appreciate if you could circulate this email within your unit to share this wonderful news, to recognize the hard work, commitment and efforts of our fabulous Campaign team, and to thank our University community for its support of the University's United Way Campaign, which is one of our primary community outreach initiatives, supporting over 100 agencieshttps://unitedwaywinnipeg.ca/our-impact/our-network-of-agency-partners/ in Winnipeg, and positively impacting thousands of Winnipeggers each day.
Congratulations on another successful United Way Winnipeg campaign at the University of Manitoba, and thank you for your continued support!
