Switch a shift in September?

Hello all, I'm scheduled to man the VR desk on September 22nd from 11am-12pm, but I've booked a vacation day and won't be able to work that shift. Is there anyone who could trade shifts with me? I won't be able to work a shift on September 18th, 21st, 22nd, or 29th, but any other days are open. Thanks! One Stop Search log in problems

It has been reported that some users are not getting past the "guest" stage in One Stop Search even after they have logged in. It seems a persistent problem for some people and intermittent for others. I believe this is a browser issue and not Alma or Iridium. I have a support case in and will report back when the issue is resolved. In the meantime if a patron needs to renew or request items you can do it on their behalf in Alma. Until today users at public workstations in libraries had been able to get in without logging in, but we have locked that down now. Changes to authentication that may affect some users

Hi there, We have recently updated our EZProxy settings to authenticate users by user groups rather than a complicated combination of user groups and bar code ranges. This has affected access for some hospital staff, all of whom were informed personally of the changes. These changes also mean that a few people who may have previously had unauthorized access to UpToDate and LexiComp can no longer enjoy that privilege. Access to those resources is permitted as following: UpToDate: Faculty and Staff, Students, Hospital Staff. ONLY these user groups have access. LexiComp: Faculty and Staff, Students, Distance Education. ONLY these user groups have access. If a VR patron is wondering why they can no longer access either of these two resources please check their record in Alma to see what user group they belong to. If they feel they are being unfairly denied access to UpToDate or LexiComp please refer them to me. On another note, please remember that LibGuides may be offline for some time on Monday while I do the switch to the new version. VR e-mail account

Hi, We discovered this morning that our VR e-mail account expired. I just sent in the paper work to have this account reactivated. Because it is a sponsored account we need to actively renew the account rather than just update the password.
