We will be having a little Halloween party starting at noon this
friday (Oct. 29th) in the grad lounge. There will be free pizza,
chips, drinks and even a few treats so be sure to join us! Dressing up

November 19 - Call for Abstracts Deadline for CONFOR West 2011
CONFOR West is an annual conference organized by, and for, graduate
students in western North America studying environmental sciences,
forestry and other related fields. This year´s conference will be held
in Jasper from February 3 to 6, 2011.
The 2011 conference theme is, "Ecosystems in Perspective: Integrating
Environment, Society& Economy". We hope to expose graduate students
to perspectives on environmental and forest research from outside
their typical discourses and begin meaningful dialogue between
students of different research backgrounds.
This conference is geared towards Senior Undergraduate, Master´s,&
PhD students If anyone is interested in being involved in conference

Debbie has been notified that Dr. William (Bill) Woodbury passed
away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010.
Dr. Woodbury began his career here in 1969, retired as an Associate
Professor January 1995, and was a Senior Scholar from 1996 until the
end of June 2000.
There is no funeral or memorial service.
