Subject: Point Plant Growth Area Clean up hour Nov. 1!
Hi Everyone,
The Point Plant Growth Area Team (Cathy Bay, Paula Parks, Judith Nugent-Rigby, Mary Meleshko and Rob Visser) would like to announce the first monthly clean up hour:
Who? The team plus any users of the Point growth rooms/chambers and potting area are invited (fresh dainties from Tall Grass Prairie Bakery will be provided).
Where? The Point growth rooms/chambers area (also known as the Plant Science Field Station, 264 Freedman Crescent)
When? Tuesday, November 1 at 10:30 am and every first Tuesday of the month after that.
Why? Because it's always so much more pleasant and safe to work in a clean environment.
How does it apply to me? If you are a Point Growth area user and have left pots, soil, pre-mix, tools, pens or note pads, large ticket items, personal belongings on the benches or in the area they will be cleaned up and put in a clearly marked holding bin for a month for your retrieval. If not retrieved in that time, it will be thrown out.
It should be fun so join us if you can,
Rob Visser

Hello to all,
Please make sure that all your food, snacks, seeds, etc. that you keep in your office are in a sealed, mouse proof container.
Mice are looking for a warm place to live for the winter, and if you leave food where they can access it, you will have these critters in your office.
Thanks,
Bev
