Subject: [Advisor-exchange] Charge Ahead Peer Mentor Support
Hello UM Advisors!
Charge Ahead is up and running again for the Winter 2024 term. There are 24 appointment slots available each week, so students are likely to find an appointment time that works for them. We have three undergraduate mentors and one graduate mentor available. The mentors are also running a workshop series on Tuesdays (1:00-2:15) from January 23 - February 14. Our website<https://umanitoba.ca/student-supports/academic-supports/charge-ahead> includes a link to our booking calendar as well as workshop registration information. Please pass this information along to any students you think would benefit! We have found the most common reason for students attending is staff referrals, so it very much makes a difference.
Thanks again for your continued support!

Caution: This message was sent from outside the University of Manitoba.
Good afternoon,
I am contacting you on behalf of my organization, rare Charitable Research Reserve, with the hope you can advertise a scholarship opportunity to graduate students. If you aren't familiar with us, rare is a 1200+ acre urban land trust located in Waterloo Region with goals in conservation, research, and education. We have been a field site for over 81 projects in a variety of disciplines, at no cost to the researcher.
To support student research, we offer a scholarship and bursary program (see attached flyer) as well as accommodations to graduate students conducting field research on the property. Check out our website (https://raresites.org/research/) to see some of the ongoing or past research.
If you would like more information about rare as a research site, please feel free to contact me.
Best,
Aleksandra
