Dear Plant Science Graduate Students Student Council ELECTIONS and a PIZZA LUNCH will be held on Wednesday September 5th @ 11:30 a.m. in 218 Seminar Room. Everyone welcome!! Each year, we elect new student representatives to carry out the duties of the Plant Science Graduate Student Associaton. Major activities include social event planning, attending/organizing annual graduate student symposium, organizing annual summer charity barbeque for students, staff and professors and overall representation. Interesting presentations from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, CUPE (what you need to know regarding teaching assistantships), Financial Aids and Awards (more $$$), Career and Counselling (working with your advisor) have been planned.
