International Graduate Student Scholarship (IGSS) Please go to http://umanitoba.ca/faculties/graduate_studies/media/IGSS_App_10-11.pdf for information and applications. International students (i.e. those in Canada on study permits) continuing full-time study in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba in either the second year of a two-year Master's program, the second year of a two-year Ph.D. program, the second or third year of a three-year Ph.D. program, or in the first year of a Ph.D. program after completing a Master's degree at the University of Manitoba who are paying the international student tuition fee should apply for this scholarship. PLEASE NOTE: if you are considering transferring to a Ph.D. program at the University of Manitoba without completing the master’s degree at the University of Manitoba, OR if you are considering doing a Ph.D. program at the University of Manitoba after completing a master’s degree at the University of Manitoba you should apply for this scholarship.
