Martin Entz's lab works together with the oat breeding program at AAFC Brandon (Dr. Kirby Nilsen) on an organic field-testing program for prospective oat lines. We are looking for a qualified person to assist in "setting up seed" for planting at the 6 sites across the 3 Prairie Provinces in 2022. Burns Leadership Institute at the University of Manitoba. I am excited to share that the Institute’s flagship program, the President’s Student Leadership Program<https://umanitoba.ca/asper/programs-of-study/presidents-student-leadership-…>, is now accepting applications for its fourth year. I am calling on you as Deans/Directors and Associate Deans to identify students in your faculty who would be the right fit for this unique‐in‐Canada, interdisciplinary program, and invite them to apply. Thank you in advance! The President’s Student Leadership Program is an immersive learning experience that brings together students from across disciplines, backgrounds, interests, levels of study and Manitoba post‐secondary institutions. To note, both undergraduates and postgraduate students may apply, and must not currently be in their last year of study. Participants will be selected based on their leadership commitment, potential, and existing experience that builds their communities whether at school, in their communities or more broadly.
