Hi all,
There is a stats meeting today at 12:00, in a lab on the 3rd floor (the
furthest lab of that hall).
We'll have a discussion on the attached paper (Current statistical
issues in Weed Research). Although the paper focuses on weeds, it
covers many of the issues often encountered in other disciplines as well.

The Chemistry Graduate Student Association (CGSA) is hosting a poster
competition on May31st. Open to graduate and undergraduate students
throughout the faculty of science, the focus will be on providing a
forum for students to present their research to faculty and the general
public. Students will be evaluated by faculty judges and given feedback
on both their research and public speaking, with prizes for the best
presenters overall and within each department. Refreshments will be
provided.
