All,
As a colleague and as a friend I would like to thank Fouad for his service as the Department Head. He has served for several years, and the last one has been a very difficult one. I am not good at preparing speeches, and also do not want to duplicate the list of achievements listed in the communication from the Dean.
All I wish to say is that despite several challenges Fouad's dedication is much appreciated. We are a very heterogenous group and it is natural that differences arise, but dealing with differences, through mutual respect makes us grow. Thank you Fouad!
Also,I will be serving as the Acting Department Head and Doug Cattani serving as the Acting Associate Head.
Claudio

Hello Fouad,
The abatement contractor found some additional ACM material behind the fiberglass insulation in the wall cavities of the rooms. In order to remove this material they will have to continue the abatement work this evening. Please see attached for your information the Asbestos Abatement Notification for the work this evening.
Thank you,

Subject: Performers Wanted!
Importance: High
Hello to all,
Do you play a musical instrument? Sort of play a musical instrument? Sing? Sing out of tune? Recite poetry? Dance? Act? Other?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then WOW, is there an opportunity for you to showcase your talent! (actually talent is not required)
Performers are needed for next Friday's Department Christmas party, short performances are welcomed and appreciated!
It's time to have some fun!
Please let me know by next Thursday morning (by noon), so that I can put a programme together.
Thanks,
Bev
