It is my pleasure to announce that Susan Ness will join our office (as a replacement for Bev who will retire early in 2022) starting Nov 10th, 2021. Susan comes from the Department of Immunology where she has held an Administrative position since 2002. Susan has worked at the UofM since 1989 and holds a MA in Major Political Sciences from the same university. Besides providing support to the leadership team, Susan will also assist with other administrative and secretarial duties. She enjoys reading and poetry and fun outdoors activities!
We are glad to have Susan on board.

Forwarded on behalf of Amy Mangin:
Hi all,
The Canadian Society of Agronomy is once again doing monthly virtual graduate student presentations during the fall/winter months. CSA started this in the fall of 2020 as a way for graduate students to practice virtual presentation and if they wish get feedback on their presentations. We are currently looking for students that would like to present a short 13 min presentation on their research (proposals and results both welcome). Please pass the attached information to any graduate students that may be interested in your programs or elsewhere.
Detailed information about the program and how to signup are in the attached document, additionally, graduate students can contact me directly with any questions.
Thanks!
Amy Mangin
