I sent you information about the next competition for the Plant Science Travel Award on October 28. Since then, the eligibility criteria has been expanded so that "Priority will be given to students who are not beyond year 2 in the M.Sc. program or year 4 in the Ph.D. program". As you all aware, the symposium fundraising committee is working hard to get as much sponsorships as possible. Thanks to Meghan, Victoria and Iris, we now have close to $13,000 confirmed in sponsorships, although we are a bit short on our planned budget. As it is OUR symposium, we need a total contribution and participation from everyone of you to make it a success.
