Compensation Budget Changes - Excluded Academics

Good afternoon, It was brought to our attention that annual increments for excluded academics did not populate in UM Plan as part of the VIP load. Further review determined the cause to be a lack of a next review date. A default next review date of 4/1/2027 has been added to all excluded academic positions which will cause increments to be added when UM Plan calculates compensation tonight and if/when you click save on form 2.01 Review Org Compensation - Existing Employees today. As a result, if you have any excluded academic positions in your budget, your budget may have changed. Please forward this message to other UM Plan users in your units that may be affected by this change. Thank you to Sarah Lu for asking questions after reviewing her compensation budget in UM Plan. UM Plan - System Outage - VIP Data Load - July 15th , 2026

Good morning, Please be advised that the UM Plan system will be unavailable for service maintenance commencing tomorrow at 7:30am. The outage is required to perform the VIP data load process for the FY27/28 budget cycle. We anticipate the system will be available on Thursday, July 16th by end of day (4:30pm).
