Joignez-vous à l’ICPA le mercredi 16 février à 11 h (HE) pour un prochain webinaire réunissant deux expertes de premier plan en santé des sols.
Madame Susan Wood-Bohm, Ph. D., boursier distingué de l’ICPA, et madame Marie-Élise Samson, Ph. D., boursier doctoral de l’ICPA, exploreront le concept évolutif et dynamique de la « santé des sols » dans un contexte canadien. Elles examineront également le rôle des sols sains et des pratiques agricoles novatrices dans la réduction des émissions de gaz à effet de serre et l’adaptation aux répercussions des changements climatiques.
Mme Wood-Bohm et Mme Samson mettront un accent particulier sur les principes fondamentaux de la science des sols et l’interaction complexe des aspects physiques, chimiques et biologiques de l’agroécosystème. Elles décriront également les complexités de l’adoption et de l’optimisation de pratiques de gestion bénéfiques dans l’ensemble du paysage canadien diversifié dans le contexte de l’amélioration de la santé des sols et de la réalisation des objectifs en matière de changements climatiques.

CAPI Distinguished Fellow Dr. Susan Wood-Bohm and CAPI Doctoral Fellow Dr. Marie-Élise Samson will explore the evolving and dynamic concept of ‘soil health’ within a Canadian context.
