Hillel/JSA - March of Living for University Students
National Jewish Campus Life is so excited to announce the launch of our
March of the Living Program in May. We will be sending 2 separate
delegations on the March.
1. Jewish University Program- we will be taking 80 Jewish students from
around the country. We will need your help in recruiting these students!
Students will travel to both Poland and Israel.
2. Multi-Cultural University Track- we will be taking 40 non-Jewish students
to Poland. We hope you will actively help to recruit campus influential and
future leaders who would benefit from this program.
Please check out: http://www.canadaisraelexperience.com/mol2005
We will be sending more information over the next few weeks. In the meantime
if you have any questions etc. don't hesitate to call or email me, as I will
be the point person for this March delegation.
Thanks in advance for your support and help with this exciting new
initiative.
Regards,
Ryla

Hillel/JSA - Political Program
Hello everyone,
Enclosed, please find a new version of the application for this high level
political engagement program.
It was circulated in Ottawa at the conference, and there are already a
number of applicants. Space is limited to about a total of 30, so we will be
vetting the applicants.
After a series of conference calls on subjects described on the application,
the successful applicants will convene in Ottawa in late February or Early
March for a conference where they will be introduced to the "tachlis" side
of Ottawa, including lobbyists, EA's Ministerial assistants, journalists,
and a politician or two.
Canada-Israel Congress will be assisting our most promising participants in
securing internships on the Hill next summer, and National Jewish Campus
Life will also be providing a Fellowship grant to those who demonstrate
ongoing involvement in engagement, student government, and youth wing
development in national parties on their campuses. All party affiliations
are welcomed and encouraged.

Hillel/JSA - ONE Weekend Update
Hello All!
We would like to tell you about this major event coming up. From Thursday
January 20th to Sunday January 23rd there will be the ONE weekend in
Montreal.
"ONE is a weekend opportunity for Jewish University students around the
country to unite together in Montreal to share an experience of a lifetime.
We have called our gathering ONE as it represents the idea that we are all
one nation, of one heart, with one god, we have one religion, one land, and
one heritage. Furthermore participants are all ONE in that they are Jewish
Canadian University students and are connected by this shared identity and
reality, and are forever joined by the nature of their experiences. This
weekend will be a combination of educational and inspirational activities as
well as fun and social events. We have renowned speakers and leaders in
areas of Judaism, feminism, unity, Israel, politics, not-for-profit
organizations etc. joining us for the weekend. As well we will have an
exciting party of hundreds and hundreds of Jewish university students in the
heart of downtown Montreal."
The itinerary is still being ironed out but the National Jewish Campus Life
has begun booking speakers and entertainment. While nothing is set in stone
here is some pertinent information as we have it now:
Cost - Students staying in the hotel will pay $150.
Students not sleeping in the hotel will pay slightly discounted price.
Other than that NJCL will be covering all costs except airfare. Hillel/JSA
Winnipeg will provide some subsidies (this info will be more accurate once
we know how many people are interested in going).
In terms of registration NJCL is currently putting together a website,
registration will be online. As soon as registration opens up we will let
you know.
If you are interested in going please let Gadi know ASAP by emailing
