To: All Staff & Students
Please note that this Sunday, September 23rd there will be a half marathon taking place through part of the Fort Garry Campus as well as a 5 km walk/run. Neither event will restrict access to the campus but there may be some delays at intersections during each race.
The Rotary Half Marathon will begin at 8 a.m. and will have participants running through the campus from approximately 8:20 - 10:30 a.m. The race path will include the East portion of campus with runners coming down University Crescent to Sifton Road, Saunderson Street, Freedman Crescent, out King's Drive.
The Commerce Students' Association Race for Space will begin at 3 p.m. The race will take place mostly on sidewalks throughout campus. In the areas where there are not sidewalks - specifically Freedman Crescent, Saunderson Street, and Sifton Road - there will be pylons set up that will designate the race path.
Thank you,
Tannis
