REMINDER Wireless Access Update

Information Service and Technology would like to inform users of an upcoming change to wireless access. There will be an update performed on January 23rd, 2013. When users first connect to wireless following the upgrade a new validation certificate message will be displayed. Please see the sample screenshots below. NOTE: You MUST ACCEPT the new certificate to be able to successfully use the wireless network. Telephone System Outage for Monday, January 14

Information Services & Technology would like to inform users of a planned telephone outage from 10:00 P.M. to 10:10 P.M. on Monday, January 14. This maintenance will impact all telephone services on both campuses. The phone services that will be impacted are: No 911 service from a university phone No 555 service No local calls No long distance calls No voicemail service No internal calls on campus Code Blue stations will not work Elevator emergency phones will not work Panic alarms may experience periodic outages In the case of an emergency please call 911 from a CELLULAR phone. For non-emergency assistance please call University of Manitoba Security at 269-3363 from a CELLULAR phone Thank you for your patience during this required maintenance.
