Mario Pinto, Vice-President (Research and International) Dear UM Community Member, Please join us to celebrate the official launch of Change Through Research: University of Manitoba Strategic Research Plan 2024-29<https://umanitoba.ca/research/strategic-research-plan> on Tuesday, October 8, 10:00 AM-11:30 AM at the Smart Park Innovation Hub (100 Innovation Drive). The event will showcase UM researchers with interactive booths that align with the plan's seven thematic research areas of focus, including: * Foundations * Social Justice and Human Rights * Research by, for and with Indigenous Peoples * Water and Food Security * Health and Well-Being * Climate Action and Sustainability * Manitoba, Hudson Bay, Arctic and the World I want to warmly invite you to join the celebration of the launch where you will learn more about UM's strategic research priorities and how our talented researchers are providing solutions to society's most pressing challenges. Date: Tuesday, October 8, 2024 Time: 10:00 AM -11:30 AM Location: Smart Park Innovation Hub (100 Innovation Dr), Fort Garry Campus Schedule: Doors will open at 9:30 AM with a brief speaking program to begin at 10 AM.
