Dear Graduate Support Staff:
The Faculty of Graduate Studies is once again preparing for its annual Awards Reception to recognize the achievements of graduate students who have newly received awards/scholarships (not bursaries, research grants or travel awards) greater than or equal to $10,000 per year. As such, we do not want to miss out on inviting all deserving recipients.
Would you please forward me the names of your students who have received and accepted an award for the 2018/2019 academic year greater than or equal to $10,000 per year. Please include:
* award competitions from November 1, 2018 - October 31, 2019
* awards for which the student may or may not have started receiving monies yet
* please not include renewals.
I DO NOT require the names of those students who have the:
* UMGF
* Duff Roblin
* NSERC CGSM, PGSM, CGSD, PGSD, SSHRC CGSM/DOCTORAL, CIHR CGSM/Doctoral
* Vanier
* U of M Distinguished Dissertation
* MHRC (Manitoba Health Research Council)
* J.G. Fletcher Ph.D. Fellowship for Research in Aboriginal Issues
* J.W. Dafoe Graduate Fellowship
