** *Hello Plant Science Graduate Students!* Great news! *Grad Student Beach Day* looks to be a go for 2006 and will hopefully come together in the next week or so. However, before you get too excited and blow up your water wings (I know I have), the social committee would like to survey the graduate student crew on preferred dates. Please let me know which one of following options you prefer. 1) Workday – Thursday August 10^th , 2006 2) Weekend – Saturday August 12^th , 2006 Similar to Beach Days held in previous years, we’ll leave the school approximately 9:30-10 a.m. for a local Beach (Grand Beach maybe), take some time for a BBQ, swimming, a few token graggie games and even a bit of relaxing before heading back and arriving in the city for let’s say 6 pm.
