The 7th Canadian Workshop of the IAPB will be held at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon May 5-8th 2008. The Seed Development Workshop will follow in May 8 & 9th. Topics to be discussed include: -Embryogenesis/haploidy -Transformation: bridging tissue culture and molecular biology -Bioproducts and biotechnology -siRNA and miRNA plant biotechnology -cell custure revisited -Application of plant biotechnology
